Many of you will probably think i'm really werid after reading this. Just a warning. You may proceed.

After having worked on Forever the Optimist (For all of you who don't know FTO is a book/Animation that Mal and I created) for almost a full year i can truly say that the characters Mal and I have created are becoming so real to me. I've done some writing and she's done some drawing, but we mostly worked on character development. During the last school year we would always complain about how we would never get anything done, but i now see that it was good that we mainly focused on the characters personalities, interests, flaws, and attitudes. Not only has it made them extremely strong, it has made my job of writing a whole lot easier because i can now imagine what any of our characters would do in any given situation.

But like i said before, these characters have become so real to me. Scary real. I mean, i always feel like they are with me. If i hear a certain word or phrase i will imagine a scene or something else that reminds me of the characters. (For example, the other day someone said the word "soup" and I Immediately thought of the seth/Adalia noodle debate. Mal is prolly the only one who gets that. Oh that reminds me, mal, seth being like "Ramon: A question of ethics?") Anywho... It makes me happy that they are always there, but on the other hand, it makes me sad to know that i will never be able to really talk to them. (This is where the people thinking i'm weird part comes in) And it's not the kind of sad you feel when you ruin your favorite shirt, it's the kind of sad you feel when someone you love dies and you know that you'll never be able to talk to them again. Except i've never been able to talk to them. (At this moment Seth would give me a big hug, then run away realizing i'm a girl)

I'm not just saying this because i helped create it, but FTO is too good not to be on the big screens one day.
